Subject: Coverage of the costs of damages resulting from attacks on my car

Greetings,

An officer of the Preventive Security Force ordered my car set on fire in 2005, and repairing it cost me around two thousand Jordanian dinars (2,000). Then others linked to the Palestinian security apparatuses — whose names are on record with the Nablus police — opened fire on my car on 14/6/2007, causing it major damage that cost me around three thousand Jordanian dinars (3,000). I have already submitted supporting documents to you concerning this matter.

Finally, a security official at Junaid Prison went ahead and burned the car completely, a car valued at seven thousand Jordanian dinars (7,000). This happened on 23/1/2009. They violated the sanctity of my home when they jumped over the wall, poured an incendiary substance on the car, and set it ablaze. I have already filed a statement with the police, and the name of the suspect, Mahdi Marqa, is on record with them.

The Palestinian Authority is responsible for these acts, since those who carried them out belong to its own security apparatuses, which are supposed to provide security for the citizen. I hereby demand that you compensate me for all these damages, totaling twelve thousand dinars (12,000), noting that the moral damages are beyond any price.
