Israeli Vileness Beyond Competition

It is difficult — indeed impossible — for any nation, people, or group to compete with Israel for its lofty rank in vileness, baseness, degeneracy, and contempt. I often ask myself whether Israelis truly belong to the human race at all, or whether they bear any relation, near or far, to humanity. My personal experiences, and the experiences of millions of individuals, and the experiences of the Arab peoples — the Palestinian people above all — with these savage barbarians, are bitter, harsh, and painful, uprooting from within every human meaning and every value of goodness, giving, and noble feeling. Our experiences with this contemptible enemy are far too severe to allow us to classify it among the human societies that have appeared throughout history, with their sweetness and their bitterness, their evil and their good.

The evil of this wicked, accursed enemy surpasses every evil in history. We have heard of guillotines, massacres, beheadings, dismemberment, burning by fire, frying in oil, dragging, cutting, gouging out eyes, severing noses, and flaying skins — but all of this pales before the Israelis’ unrelenting delight, sustained over sixty years, in torturing Palestinians, humiliating them, degrading them, demeaning them, and depriving them of sleep, of security, of peace of mind, of a morsel of bread and a pill of medicine, of family reunification, of the joy of reunion, and of ease of movement and travel. We, the people of Palestine, must steal joy furtively and in secret, our hearts wary of whatever might suddenly appear, of whatever the enemy and its fallen collaborator-agents are concealing. This mean enemy has turned our joys into funerals, our gatherings into massacres, our calm into bombs, our cheeks into mourning-drums, and our tears of delight into the sorrows of misery and wretchedness.

…attacks economic institutions and shuts down shops, medical clinics, banks, and charitable associations under flimsy security pretexts that express nothing but its own confusion, its anxieties, its psychological crises, and its fear of the future. It brings nothing we do not already know about it, and it practices no oppression or tyranny we have not already grown accustomed to; it simply continues every one of its ugly deeds, deeds without which its very existence would lose its meaning.

This contemptible enemy says it is closing down institutions belonging to Hamas, and I say to it: we are all Hamas when it attacks Hamas, we are all the Popular Front when it attacks the Popular Front, we are all Islamic Jihad when it attacks Islamic Jihad, and we are all Fatah when it attacks Fatah. We differ among ourselves, but we are all one hand in confronting you, O basest of the base.

We are not at your degraded level, and we do not accept becoming as you are. You Zionist Israelis surpass every nation in degeneracy, contempt, savagery, and barbarism. You imagine yourselves God’s chosen people, but by God, you are Satan’s chosen people. You imagine yourselves the sons of Abraham, but as the Lord Jesus said, you are the sons of vipers. You leave no room for hope, and you open no door to solutions. You imagine yourselves the conquerors, but this dominance of yours will not last long.

We are coming, we are coming. If one generation has passed without achieving victory, then your end will come with this coming generation you are now fighting. It is true that savage barbarians sometimes rise, but their fall is usually far swifter than their rise. If Bush has promised your existence for the next sixty years, I urge you not to dream of a long life. The masters of contempt and degeneracy are skilled at nothing but manufacturing their own self-destruction.
