Palestine's Arabness, Not Israel's Jewishness

A correspondent for the Zionist newspaper Maariv called me, asking about my position on the proposal of “the Jewishness of the state,” but I declined to give him an interview, because that would be normalization with Israeli media, and normalization is treason. Here, instead, I offer my answer:

There is no peace in the Arab-Islamic region unless the world recognizes the Arab identity of Palestine. Palestine is an inseparable part of the land of Greater Syria, an inseparable part of the land of the Arabs, and an inseparable part of the land of the Muslims, and whoever says otherwise is making an enemy of the Palestinians, the Arabs, and the Muslims, making an enemy of history, and threatening the Arab Islamic and Christian holy sites. As for whoever goes along with denying Palestine’s Arab identity, or casts doubt on it, whether Palestinian or Arab, he is a traitor to God, to the people, to the nation, and to the homeland.

Netanyahu wants Palestinian recognition of “the Jewishness of the state” in order to open wide the door to erasing the Palestinian people entirely, and he understands he is racing against history, wanting to secure Israel’s future before history turns in the region. He also understands that history will turn — that the weak do not remain weak forever, that the strong do not remain strong forever, and that a great nation like the Arab nation cannot remain in this state of decline across the various fields of life forever. Netanyahu is betting on herds of Palestinian and Arab traitors to secure the greatest possible gains before the wheels of history turn in the opposite direction. He may obtain recognition of “the Jewishness of the state” from traitors who recognize Israel and defend its security, but the rule of traitors never lasts long, historically. The rule of the unjust may last a while, but the rule of the traitor never does.

Our tragedy is embodied in the traitors the world recognizes as representatives of the Palestinian people, but the world sides with the strong, and positions change, particularly once the Palestinian people decides to expel the filth of treachery from its own body.

Israel possesses no fundamental strategic elements that make it viable for the long term, and if it possesses anything, it possesses only the treachery of Arab and Palestinian leaderships. It is the Palestinian and Arab traitors who empower Israel, through humiliating peoples, repressing them, and weakening them, keeping them a mount for the tyrants who supply the leaders of Palestine and the Arabs with money and sources of indulgence. And if certain states have entered the fray to sabotage the Arab movement toward change, obstructing the course of history never lasts; and if fanatical, criminal pseudo-Islamic factions have entered the fray to sabotage Islam and defame Muslims, these too will not last long.

The future is ours, and the nation’s, and Palestine will be nothing but Arab, and if there is anyone who will leave this land, it is the invading Zionists, not the land’s own owners and lovers.
