The Devil's Chosen People: Women (5)

Westerners who believe in the Hebrew religious heritage, together with Israel, beat the drum against Muslims because their religion, as they claim, holds women in contempt, treats them with condescension, and denies them their rights. In this installment, we will see how Zionist religious teachings treat women, and the extremely low standing accorded to women within them. Westerners — Americans, British, French, and others — reproach Muslims for practicing polygamy and for viewing women as a sexual target. Western and Zionist media usually promote a great many things invented either by their own minds or by certain Muslim clerics who understand nothing of Islam beyond their own personal neuroses.

To begin with, the Hebrew Lord says he created Adam first, and when he found him alone, decided to create a counterpart for him. “And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” (Genesis 2:21-23) Of course, some unlearned Muslim clerics took this story and wove for the children of Muslims a fiction about a woman made from Adam’s rib, even though the Holy Quran says something entirely different.

As for the story of the expulsion from the Garden, the woman bears its responsibility, because she listened to the serpent and ate from the tree the Lord had forbidden eating from. Because of this: “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” (Genesis 3:16)

Let the reader note the manner of dealing with women here, and the clear bias toward males over females. Their holy book says: “And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean. And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days. And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest: Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood.” (Leviticus 12:1-7) What would Westerners have done had these words come from Muslims?

The monthly cycle has its own particular rules as well, for their holy book says: “And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean. And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even. And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean.” (Leviticus 15:19-24)

This arbitrary discrimination between male and female appears clearly, too, in the matter of vows. Listen to what the Torah says: “When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by thy estimation. And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels. And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels. And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver. And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.” (Leviticus 27:1-7)

Westerners raise the world against Islam because the testimony of two women equals the testimony of one man, yet they say nothing of these teachings, which hold women in contempt, and hold female children and the elderly, male and female alike, in contempt as well. This despite the fact that the legislation on testimony in the Holy Quran has nothing to do with any inherent nature, but rather with social circumstances. Perhaps we ought to turn to groups of liberal Muslims, men and women alike, and first explain to them the teachings of those who never stop cursing Islam and Muslims, so that they might reconsider everything they write, say, or receive.
