A Statement from the Occupied Land

The United States and the Zionist entity persist in their dark, malicious aggression against the Arab and Islamic nation, aiming to destroy all its progressive, revolutionary, and jihadist forces, and thereafter to subjugate it and plunder its wealth. The two states have consistently pursued every progressive phenomenon in the Arab homeland and the world, and have mobilized against it every force of oppression and tyranny, from within and without. They wage war after war against the Arabs to strip them of all dignity and pride, and now it is Syria’s turn, through Lebanon.

But the enemies will never achieve what they desire. We will remain standing, and we will be victorious, God willing.

Here we affirm the following:

First: Bilad al-Sham is one land, one homeland, one people, with absolutely no distinction between sects, denominations, or national or ethnic origin, and it is an inseparable part of the land of the Arabs and the Muslims;

Second: Resistance against Zionist and Western aggression is a sacred right that must not be violated, and the Lebanese resistance is a symbol of dignity and honor. Liberating the sacred Arab land is a duty upon all Arabs and Muslims, and a right for them at the same time. All the people of Bilad al-Sham bear the primary responsibility for carrying the banner of jihad and liberation;

Third: The liberation of the land can only be achieved by the free human being and the free people. Granting freedoms and respecting them is the foundation of construction, progress, and creativity. Despotism has done harm to the nation’s history, hindered its ability to confront internal and external challenges, and torn apart its unity;

…historical, but rather support for the nation’s steadfastness in confronting the Zionist-American invasion, and in confronting the collapse of many Arab regimes toward surrender to the Zionist entity and the abandonment of Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic rights.

Fifth: Only the arms of its own sons protect the state, and wise leadership is that which is keen on its popular extension through public participation in decision-making. A free people produces effective resistance, and protects its leadership just as the leadership works to protect it.
